Mooresville Graded School District & ReadWrite Digital Developing a hosted solution to support Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Charlottesville, VA:
ReadWrite Digital & Mooresville Graded School District (NC) announce a four-year partnership to assist educators in the utilization of data to improve instruction and meet state-mandated best practices for the NC Multi-tiered System of Support (NC MTSS). The first challenge will be to adapt ReadWrite Digital Analytics to include an Early Warning System (EWS) model. This will give school districts the ability to use their existing data to identify and support students at risk of not meeting performance standards.
ReadWrite Digital Analytics is a platform designed as an end-to-end solution to help school districts leverage their current information systems to identify at-risk students and monitor growth through analysis of current attendance, behavior and academic performance data. “NC MTSS employs a systems approach using data-driven problem solving to maximize growth for all.”* Rob Simms, President & CTO ReadWrite Digital said, “With data integration provided to Mooresville by our Integrator product since 2011, using its ability to refresh our Analytics data warehouse every 24 hours was a natural next step. We are excited to bring the power of Analytics to schools as they take on the challenge of managing student growth and meeting the demands of MTSS.
Mooresville’s Dr. Scott Smith, Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Instruction and Technology, said: “The first challenge is to create a new interface template for the ReadWrite platform to provide an Early Warning System (EWS) for students at risk.”
